Daily distance is 12 -25 km (= 7,5 - 15,6) at a medium difficulty level Too long daily trips? Too short? Missing anything? Add extra day? Tell us, no problem. Day 1 - Arrival in Jablonné nad Orlici, a picturesque mountain town. Overnight here. Day 2 - Round trip through beautiful gentle countryside to the Polish border and the "Land Gate" (a narrow stony river valley), to the ruins of the romantic Litice Castle and/or to a fortress from World War II. Overnight ditto. Day 3 - Hiking upwards towards Suchý vrch (Dry Mountain), through deep forests and mountain meadows, to the small tranquil villages of Herbortice and Králíky. Overnight Herbotice or Kraliky. Day 4 - Morning transfer by local train for the Kraliky monastery and/or prospecting for Czech garnets in a valley brook. Overnight ditto. Day 5 - Across the mountain ridges with beautiful panoramic views to Losiny, a small spa town. Visit the renaissance chateau and/or the hand-paper mill from the 16th century, the only one in Europe that produces paper in the truly traditional way. Overnight here. Day 6 - Upwards through mountain villages, past the folk style wooden churches, and through blueberry fields, crossing the mountain ridge of Jeseníky to Moravka/Karlov. Overnight here. Day 7 - Round trip towards the highest mountain in Moravia - Praded, through Velký Kotel (Big Basin), a glacial moraine (nature reserve with precious vegetation), and along a canyon formed by small waterfalls of the Bílá Opava River. Overnight ditto. Day 8 - Departure.
